How to connect the light at a dacha in a garden partnership to a plot of land without a chairman

Comfortable living in a country house cannot be imagined without electricity. Without it, it is impossible to use lighting sources and household appliances. Its connection is possible in two ways: through SNT - a horticultural non-profit partnership and individually.

It would seem that the need for electricity in the country is obvious. But your neighbors in the country may think differently. Someone comes to the dacha to move old trash from the house, plant potatoes, or just get some fresh air - there are many options. And many believe that electricity is not necessary for this.

In addition, you still have to pay money for this, and a lot of it: the cost of the connection itself + construction work. That is why SNT members often do not approve of the initiative to conduct electricity. In this case, you will have to resort to connecting yourself.

New rules in legislation

Gardening and vegetable gardening are carried out in accordance with 217-FZ dated June 29, 2017. The document identified the following changes:

  • suburban buildings are no longer called dachas, now they are residential and summer houses;
  • owners of suburban areas are gardeners and gardeners;
  • gardening steel SNT and ONT;
  • The territories are vegetable gardens and garden plots.

The introduced law allows undeveloped land to be connected to communications on a par with residential buildings.
The rights of property owners regarding connection to electrical networks are protected by Federal Law 861-FZ dated June 22, 2019. The rules of accession are observed by the FAS.

Technical aspects of the procedure for connecting electricity to SNT

To individually connect houses you will need:

  • switch;
  • machine;
  • metering device.

The box is installed on a wall or support. It is connected by wires to the distribution panel.

The electrical network is laid to the house using a cable that is buried in a trench.

The procedure must be carried out by an electrician who complies with established safety requirements. The connection is carried out by a specialist from the electric power company to seal the meter.

How to submit a list of documents and an application to an energy sales company

Documents are sent to the company by mail or courier. The processing time for the received application is 30 days, during which the applicant receives an agreement for connection to SNT with signatures of authorized persons.

The recipient must respond to the letter within a month. If the client refuses to provide services, he must justify the decision.

Documents required for connection

To connect to electrical networks in SNT, prepare the following documentation:

  • a separate application (sample here);
  • layout plan for objects to be connected;
  • copies of documents confirming ownership;
  • a copy of the decision of the general meeting of representatives of the partnership or other body, which, according to the SNT Charter, is authorized to make decisions on the execution of agreements with electricity supply companies;
  • a copy of the SNT Charter for provision to the energy supplier organization.

Advantages of connecting electricity to SNT

Individual connection to networks is due to 3 advantages:

  1. Outdated equipment. During operation, it loses its properties, which is why the actual power is several times lower than the standard value.
  2. Availability of debtors. When SNT has members who do not pay their electricity bills, the remaining SNT members are forced to distribute the amount of their debt among themselves. If the partnership does not pay for the services in full, there is a risk that the service will cease to be provided to all members connected to the network.
  3. Additional costs. They are established individually by the SNT charter.
