The contents of the technical passport do not indicate the cadastral number, which is the main unique identifier of real estate in 2020. Information about the cadastral number can only be obtained from the Unified State Register of Real Estate.
Technical passports, stored until 2013 in the BTI, were transferred to the ownership of regional authorities. Storage of these documents and provision of technical information upon request is permitted through the BTI archives.

While BTI technical passports can still be used in a limited manner, the cadastral passport has completely lost legal force since 2018. At the moment, the following documents are used in the real estate accounting system:
