The entire registration procedure is regulated by the Law of the Russian Federation of June 25, 1993 No. 5242-1 “On the right of citizens of the Russian Federation to freedom of movement, choice of place of stay and residence within the Russian Federation.”

According to the rules of Article 3 of this normative act, both individuals and legal entities can receive relevant information, subject to the consent of the person in respect of whom it is requested. Also, the registered person himself can obtain such data.

To order an extract from State Services you must:

1. Open the State Services website https://www.gosuslugi.ru/ and log in to your personal account;
2. Go to the “Services” menu item and select the “Apartment, Housing and Utilities” section;
3. The service will provide a list in which you need to click “Other services”;
4. Click the “Extracts, certificates” button and select “Get an extract from the house register”;
5. The application form will appear. Complete all required fields and submit your application;

7. Pay the state fee;
8. You will receive a completed document to the specified email address.
