They were built from the post-war years until the mid-50s. The main requirement of those times was communal living, so the series provided for quite spacious, necessarily isolated rooms, separate bathrooms, and ceilings with a height of at least 270 cm.
A kitchen of about 8-9 m2 was considered large; a small hallway was usually adjoined by a corridor. Rarely lucky people managed to own an apartment with at least 2 rooms alone.
In the field of construction, which began to proceed at an accelerated pace in large cities, the 90s brought many good changes. First of all, they touched upon the layouts. The approach to housing design has been completely revised.
The main thing is the functionality of housing, which allows you to conveniently move from one room to another, arrange furniture and household appliances, the number of which in modern apartments and houses has increased significantly.
Nowadays, it is considered normal to have several bathrooms (including a guest bathroom), the possibility of independent zoning, when there are no internal partitions in a new building at all, or they are non-load-bearing and can be easily dismantled to expand the space.
Ideally, everything should be concise and without fanaticism. The hallway should have space for a closet and a storage room (or a niche for them). The bathroom can also be combined. But if there is more than one room in the apartment, it is also good to have a guest toilet.
There should be a place in the bathroom for a washing machine so that it does not have to be built into the kitchen or hallway. The kitchen should be next to the living room and located close to the entrance.

To fill out an online request on the Unified State Register of Real Estate and receive an official certificate certified by the digital signature of the state registrar from the State Real Estate Register, you need:

It is IMPOSSIBLE to obtain extended information about a property from the Rosreestr database for free! To see complete information, you will have to pay a state fee, the amount of which depends on the type of document.
4) Pay for the certificate in any way convenient for you.
After payment for the ordered documents, a request for an extract from the Unified State Register will be sent to Rosreestr. The certificate is usually generated within an hour, unless technical work is carried out on the official website, which is why the period may increase to 48 hours. After processing the application, a report in PDF format will be sent to the specified email. The form, structure and content of the document are regulated by Order of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation No. 975.
Why might you need a floor plan?
The need for a floor plan may arise when carrying out transactions with real estate, its privatization, changing the type and purpose of the premises (in particular, when transferring premises from the category “residential” to “non-residential” and vice versa), redevelopment of an apartment and in other cases.
Information contained in a floor plan
The floor plan contains the following information:

- ceiling height;
- number of floors;
- number of one-, two-, three-, four-room apartments;
- living space and apartment layout;
- the presence of balconies and loggias;
- degree of wear and tear of the building;

Additional information includes:

Such information can be obtained today on the Internet, but since it is provided by the BTI, it is mainly paid.
Where can I get a floor plan of a house by address?
You can get it in the standard way - using an extract from the Unified State Register of Real Estate, ordering this service separately. Information about all real estate objects is stored in the state cadastre. All technical documentation (cadastral, floor, situational plans, explications) are prepared at the BTI by specialist engineers.

Why is information needed?
Real estate transactions are carried out only after the preparation of a certain package of documents, which indicates:

- number of rooms;
- common and living area;
- presence/absence of additional buildings (for private houses);
- owner details and so on.
As a rule, this information is sufficient to draw up a purchase and sale agreement, lease, etc., or a will (entry into inheritance rights) for an apartment (private house).

Rosreestr has a whole section for individuals, where any website visitor can apply for an extract from a cadastral passport. The service you need costs 150 rubles. The website dom.mingkh.ru is an online service made on a voluntary basis. Its database already contains information about 733 thousand houses in 80 regions. What to do if there is nothing in open sources?
When you cannot find out the year a house was built by address on various websites, you will have to resort to offline methods. In most cases, you will have to run around the authorities before you get any information. There is often a fee for issuing certificates. - BTI or Rosreestr. They go there to get a cadastral passport if you don’t have one. Only the owner can receive it - you will have to provide proof and a passport. Also, for the issuance of a cadastral passport, the applicant will have to pay a fee in the region of two hundred rubles.
- Developer. If the house is relatively new, sometimes it is easier to find the developer and ask him for a certificate of commissioning of the building.
