Recently I had a need to change my registration from one city to another. When I imagined running after passport officers who work from 12 to 14 o'clock every second Tuesday of the month, I felt sick. In addition, I was not happy with the prospect of being left without a passport for several days.
Then I remembered that I was registered with State Services and tried to resolve the issue with registration through this site. The second way is to upload the application to the website without printing it, and then it will be available to the Pension Fund immediately. You won’t have to transfer anything or wait additionally. But for such a service you will need an electronic signature. And its registration will require a longer time.

You have to be very careful. Of course, this is not a paper version, where, due to a banal typo, you will have to rewrite the entire sheet. Everything is simpler here; you can always correct the mistake. But the system does not automatically detect some typos in numbers.

This can also be done during a personal visit. But then you will find yourself at the very end of the electronic queue, and you will have to wait for an appointment - quite a long time if the load is heavy.

Block 9. Are you a citizen of another state? If you have never had one, then you should check the “No” checkbox, otherwise check the appropriate boxes.
Block 10. Additional information. Here, in each of the items, there are drop-down directories from which you should select the data that corresponds to your situation. Among them are the reason for the change of residence, information about employment and social security (whether you are a recipient of social benefits), education and the presence of an official marriage.
Block 11. Please clarify that the new registration is due to the fact that someone from the family already lives there.
Block 12. It is proposed to clarify the location (enter the city from the beginning) in order to determine the department where you should appear at the appointed time to provide the original documents: passport and document - grounds for registration.
The form is completed with consent to the processing of personal data and a warning about liability for providing false information or documents.

Difficulty in receiving
We looked at whether it is possible to make a SNILS for a newborn child through State Services, and how to quickly and conveniently submit a request. There are a few more nuances that are worth knowing about.
- Errors when compiling the questionnaire. The most common problem is refusal due to incorrect data. The number on the certificate is wrong, and you will have to create a request again.
- Distance of the department from the place of residence. It is clear that when there is no Pension Fund nearby, you need to contact the multifunctional center. But in our country, especially closer to the North, there are regions where even to the MFC you will have to travel to another city hundreds of kilometers away.
- Errors in the finished document. Rarely, but it happens. If a typo is found, you should immediately contact the Pension Fund to quickly correct it.
- Incorrect interpretation of the portal functions. “Government services” do not issue a number. This is not their competence.
