Is it possible to check out and register at the same time?

Can. The legislation provides for the opportunity to register in one place and be discharged from another on the basis of just one application. In this case, the document only indicates the fact of registration at the new place of residence. Previous registration is canceled automatically.

Where to contact

As mentioned above, a person can have both temporary and permanent registration. Moreover, there can be only one temporary or only one permanent registration.

Extract and simultaneous registration of minors

It is important to remember the fact that when discharging a minor child “to nowhere”, permission from the guardianship authorities will be required. Formally, it is issued upon request on the day of application, but in practice, guardianship authorities take a very responsible approach to their work and may simply not allow the child to be discharged without any guarantee that he will have his own place in the future.

If a person is discharged and registered at the same time, then there are no problems. Permission is usually also required, but obtaining it becomes much easier, because the guardianship authorities immediately see that the settlement is taking place at the same moment. In practice, when registering, such documents are not needed at all, but you can play it safe and prepare them in advance.

How to prepare documents through HOA, housing cooperative, management company?

If your house is under the control of housing maintenance authorities, documents can be submitted through them. In their office of the management organization there will definitely be a responsible passport officer, who will carry out the initial acceptance of documents. Contact the management company/homeowners association/housing cooperative; they have no right to refuse you this service. One of the advantages is that you don’t need to visit the OMA yourself; the passport officer will arrange everything for you. Again, FREE. The downside is that you will have to wait; due to the transfer of documents, the registration period will increase by a maximum of 6 days.
